When will I start to see results?

The beauty of Sculptra is that it is natural, but it develops over time. Typically, patients start to notice the “Sculptra glow” around week 3. After your first 2 treatments, you will start to notice your skin feels more supple, stubborn lines will look softer, and your skin will look overall rejuvenated.

What's the difference between Sculptra and traditional filler?

Sculptra stimulates your body’s natural collagen response which will restore volume loss over a period of time, while traditional dermal filler is able to provide more of an instant gratification but does not increase collagen production. Sculptra is shown to improve the overall quality of your skin while gradually increasing volume, while filler is used solely to increase volume where its placed. Filler and Sculptra can also work together to provide patients with some instant gratification while working to build collagen for the long term.

How many treatments will I need?

While every patient is different, most will need a series of three treatments spaced apart by 4-6 weeks, and then a once-a-year maintenance treatment.

Where on the face can you have it done?

Sculptra can be used anywhere we want to stimulate collagen, excluding lips and under-eyes which can be enhanced with traditional filler or laser treatments.

Is it painful?

Patients are numb during the entirety of the treatment, and most patients find it very easy to tolerate. Most patients would rate this treatment a 2/10 on the pain scale.
