Our most popular treatment, this treatment utilizes both CO2 and 1570 simultaneously and is customized to your specific skin concerns, such as pitted acne scarring, sun damage/pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, collagen remodeling, and textural changes. Includes our enhanced post-treatment recovery kit and one follow-up visit. A laser consult is required prior to scheduling this treatment unless otherwise specified.

Whos it for? Patients looking to resurface those etched-in lines but don’t want a ton of downtime. It also helps with pigmentation, texture, brightness, scarring, and tightening of the skin.

This treatment is for the patient that is looking to address multiple concerns in one powerful treatment. Utilizing CO2 to resurface the skin, removing weak tissue and forcing new healthy tissue to grow in its place, as well as creating a deep thermal effect that will target the area of the skin that stimulates the most collagen and elastin, showing the most noticeable results for a variety of skin concerns, Patients who choose this treatment should prepare for some downtime and a phenomenal result. Who’s it for? The patient who’s looking for a “one and done” laser. Helps resurface deep lines and pigmentation, tightens and brightens, and treats acne scarring.

How it works?: Same as R+R

EXPECTATION​
Before: Don’t come in with sunburn or open wounds or suntan. Take Valtrex if you have a history of cold sores. Stop blood thinners and retinoids 5-7 days prior.
After: patients will leave with what looks like a severe sunburn. All take-home products and detailed post-care will be provided. 10-14 days downtime.

• Use broad-spectrum sunscreen once a day for four weeks before treatment to avoid tanning or heavy sun exposure.
• Four weeks before treatment, avoid deep facial peels (for example, laser resurfacing, strong chemical peels and dermabrasion).
• Do not use medications that cause photosensitivity for at least 72 hours before treatment (such as doxycycline, minocycline).
• Let your provider know if you have a history of herpes or shingles in the area of treatment and start your antiviral medication (valacyclovir, acyclovir) as prescribed (usually 2 days before treatment and for 3 days after treatment).
• Before laser resurfacing, your skin may need to be treated with a topical retinoid for about four weeks.

To prevent discomfort, a topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Most patients describe the laser treatments as feeling like hot or warm pinches. Prior to treatment, some patients prefer to take an oral medication to help them relax. Certain sensitive areas can be numbed with injections of numbing medication, such as Novocain.

In the first four to twenty-four hours following treatment, patients generally feel like they have a sunburn in the treated areas. As needed, patients use ice packs and Tylenol or Ibuprofen to reduce swelling and provide comfort after treatments.

Taking care of your skin and overall health will help you maintain your treatment results. Your results can also last longer by limiting sun exposure and avoiding stress.

A number of our treatments are virtually painless, including the Harmony XL. For treatments that have any level of discomfort, we do our best to keep our patients very comfortable. We offer a full comfort menu ranging from topical numbing to ProNox to make sure our patients have the best experience possible while delivering amazing results.

This is completely patient-dependent. A series of 1-3 treatments are needed depending on the patient, and I recommend once yearly for maintenance.
